Field trip: more than nature and its balance

Both weeks were blessed with fine weather and all scheduled activities were completed. These included map reading and the use of the compass, techniques of weather recording, river studies and a visit to the La Quebrada Dique, a study of the piquillin forest and a resources simulation.

Team activities were enjoyed as all the group helped each other to succeed not only in games/play but also with dining room duties and particularly during the whole day hike/expedition. This walk over hills and along rivers ended with a night camping in tents or sleeping out under the stars at the picturesque ?Tres Cascadas? site.

M2A were accompanied by Robert Foot (Geography) and Paula Nigro (preceptora) while M2B had the pleasure of Elena Figueiredo (Physical Education) and Steven Page?s company. This field trip is full of fun, work and learning experiences?learning about nature and its balance, diversity and finally perhaps the most difficult thing of all — about friends/companions and ourselves.

Trekking, observaciones y prácticas, juegos y deportes.
